A delegation from GCB Bank has paid a courtesy visit to Ghana’s Ambassador to Egypt, H.E. Prof. Korantwi-Barimah, at the Chancery in Cairo following the Bank’s engagement with the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank).

The delegation was led by the Managing Director of GCB Bank, Mr. Farihan Alhassan, as part of efforts to strengthen collaboration and explore opportunities between the Bank and key institutions in Egypt.
According to the delegation, the visit to Afreximbank focused on discussions surrounding cooperation and partnership between the two institutions in areas of mutual interest aimed at promoting business growth and economic development.

During the courtesy call at the Ghana Embassy in Cairo, the delegation expressed appreciation to the Ambassador and staff of the Mission for the warm reception and support extended to them during their stay in Egypt.
Mr. Farihan Alhassan also emphasized GCB Bank’s readiness to collaborate closely with the Embassy on initiatives that would strengthen relations and create opportunities beneficial to both Ghana and Egypt.
H.E. Prof. Korantwi-Barimah welcomed the delegation and commended GCB Bank for its efforts in expanding partnerships and deepening engagement with international financial institutions.
The meeting further highlighted the growing relationship between Ghanaian institutions and regional financial organizations, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, and economic cooperation across Africa.
