Students from the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College have paid a courtesy call on Ghana’s Ambassador to Egypt, H.E. Prof. Korantwi-Barimah, as part of an educational and diplomatic study tour in Egypt.
The delegation was led by the Commandant of the College, Maj. Gen. Johnson Wonje, together with a dedicated team of Directing Staff and students from the institution.

The visit formed part of the College’s academic study tour aimed at broadening the students’ knowledge and strengthening diplomatic and academic ties within Egypt’s rich cultural and historical environment.
During the engagement at the Embassy, H.E. Prof. Korantwi-Barimah welcomed the delegation and commended the leadership of the College for exposing the students to international experiences that would contribute to their professional and leadership development.

The Ambassador also encouraged the budding military leaders to uphold Ghana’s proud legacy of professionalism, discipline, and peacekeeping excellence while making meaningful contributions to the African continent and the global community.
Maj. Gen. Johnson Wonje expressed appreciation to the Embassy for the warm reception and highlighted the importance of such visits in enriching the academic and strategic understanding of the students.

The visit further reinforced the longstanding relationship between Ghana and Egypt while promoting collaboration in areas of diplomacy, security, and education.
