His Excellency Professor Justice Solomon Korantwi-Barimah Presents Letters of Credence to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi
His Excellency Professor Justice Solomon Korantwi-Barimah, Ghana’s Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt, has formally presented his Letters of Credence to His Excellency Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, officially assuming his duties as Ghana’s Ambassador to Egypt.


The presentation of Letters of Credence is a significant diplomatic tradition through which an ambassador is formally accredited by the Head of State of the receiving country. The ceremony officially recognizes the ambassador as the representative of the sending state and authorizes the envoy to carry out diplomatic functions on behalf of his or her country.
Following the ceremony, Professor Justice Solomon Korantwi-Barimah expressed gratitude to God for the successful presentation of his Letters of Credence, describing the occasion as a significant milestone in his service to the Republic of Ghana.
As Ghana’s Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Professor Justice Solomon Korantwi-Barimah will work to strengthen the longstanding relations between Ghana and Egypt by promoting cooperation in trade and investment, tourism, agriculture, education, culture, science and technology, as well as other areas of mutual interest.


Ghana and Egypt have maintained cordial diplomatic relations over the years, founded on mutual respect and a shared commitment to African development and international cooperation. The accreditation of Professor Justice Solomon Korantwi-Barimah is expected to further deepen bilateral relations and create new opportunities for collaboration between the two countries.
The presentation of the Letters of Credence marks the beginning of a new chapter in Ghana–Egypt relations and reaffirms the commitment of both nations to strengthening their partnership for the mutual benefit of their peoples.
