Sunyani is benefiting from the government’s “Big Push” infrastructure initiative, with the ongoing construction of a 34-kilometre outer ring road around the city.

The project, which aims to ease traffic congestion and boost economic activity, is part of the government’s broader effort to improve road networks across the country.

According to the Member of Parliament for Sunyani East, Hon. Seid Mubarak the development represents Sunyani’s share of the Big Push, describing it as another example of the government’s commitment to regional growth.

When completed, the outer ring road is expected to enhance transportation, connect surrounding communities, and support trade within the Bono Region.
The MP shared the update on social media with the caption:
“Sunyani’s share of the Big Push. 34km outer ring road construction currently ongoing! #AbanPapaAba.”
